The short version: it's a private team calendar. Keep your account safe, enter only what colleagues need to know, and don't rely on it as an official leave record.
1. Accepting these terms
By signing in or using a viewer link you agree to these terms. Team Calendars is run by privatekeys OÜ as a private service for the teams invited to it. Accounts are created or approved by each calendar's admins.
2. What the service is
A shared calendar for team time off and training. It isn't an HR, leave or payroll record, and entries may be wrong or out of date. Where it disagrees with your organisation's own systems, those systems win.
3. Your account
One account per person. Keep your password and two-factor sign-in to yourself.
Admins, group managers and auditors must use two-factor sign-in, and a calendar's admins can require it of everyone.
If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and tell a site admin.
4. What you enter
You're responsible for the events you add. Keep them to what colleagues need: dates and a short title.
Don't enter sensitive personal details, such as the medical reason for an absence.
Admins and people with Modify access can see, change and delete events on the calendars they manage.
5. Who can see what
Each calendar's admins and group managers decide who can see and change which sub-calendars. Viewer links and feed addresses are secret: anyone with one can read what it shows, so treat them like passwords, and ask an admin to revoke one that leaks.
6. Third-party services
The service runs on Vercel (hosting and cookieless analytics), Neon (database) and Resend (email). If you subscribe to a feed, your calendar app (for example Outlook) fetches and keeps a copy under its own terms.
7. Acceptable use
Don't try to get around permissions, probe or overload the service, scrape it, share colleagues' information outside the team, or send spam through the contact form. Site admins may disable accounts that do.
8. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including uptime.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, privatekeys OÜ isn't liable for losses from using the service, such as a missed or wrong entry. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as allowed.
10. Ending access
Admins can turn off your access to a calendar at any time. To have your account and data deleted, ask through the contact form.
11. Changes to the service and these terms
Features and these terms may change. When the terms change, the date above changes and the changelog says so. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If any part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
13. Contact
Questions go to the site admins through the contact form.
